Thanks for the reminder that God always has more planned for us than what we end up with when we insist on taking matters into our own hands! Even “ole dogs” can learn new tricks. Where’s that scripture that contains “and a little child shall lead them”…?

Carol, A great reminder! I so often want what I want and I want it NOW!! God’s timing is always better, but having the patience to wait on Him is not easy. Thanks for sharing your story. When my children were little I would correct them and then hear the Lord’s quiet voice say, “You do that too!” I am forever thankful for His constant direction and patience.
