On a highly practical level, does your son&#039;s medicines not control his seizures? (I understand your situation. My daughter has had epilepsy all her life; she is now 32 and living independently, but she is not allowed to drive because we have no way of knowing that her medicine will completely control all her seizures; we think she still has some absence seizures occasionally. Otherwise, she is quite happy.)</description>
