Hi, friends! My name is Kimberly Henderson and I live in the upstate of South Carolina with my amazing husband and our three precious daughters. I spend my days digging in the Word, praying with my friends, writing, and trying to learn to love doing laundry. And if you can’t find me at home, I am either serving at my church or shopping at Walmart.
With a background in theatre and a degree in Biology and Chemistry, I may sound like an unlikely writer. Yet, I find that I have to write. God’s Word burns within me (Jeremiah 20:9) and I cannot keep to myself the hope, healing, and love He has so freely given me.
I love to encourage other women with the Word and by being honest about how I so do not have it all together. Along with encouraging other believers, I pray I will be a vessel of truth and hope for those who do not yet know how wide, how long, how high, and how deep the Savior’s love is for them (Ephesians 3:18).
Feel free to drop by my blog, A Planting of the Lord. You may find that I am sometimes a little silly, occasionally a bit too serious, and often more than a tad dramatic (that’s the theatre background coming out). But one thing you will always find is a girl totally in love with Jesus.
