Hi everyone! I’m Rachel! I live in the always changing weather state of Minnesota. I’m a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to seven fabulous children. And I’m the wife to one amazing cancer surviving husband, Todd.
I’ve walked some bumpy roads in life and have discovered that through all the trials that I can boldly still praise our Lord and declare His greatness. I have a passion for seeing women be set free from the boxes that the world places around them. I love to speak for women’s ministry events and enjoy writing about living an authentic life.
When I’ve led Bible Studies I always start off our study telling the women that no masks should be worn here. I emphasize being real and the sharing of hearts and stories. And that is exactly how I write on my blog finding joy. Writing has brought me closer to Christ and has brought healing. I hope that I can share just a bit of the joy found through walking with the Father with you in my written word.

I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty.
